You would be able to get a ride with another student that is going home for a reasonable price.

Elevator Pitch No. 1

Tyler, I really like this idea and think that you identified a great business opportunity. I know several friends of mine without cars who consistently struggle to find rides to Tampa/South Florida/Atlanta and they could really use an application like this to solve that issue. ReplyDeleteI highly enjoyed your post! Your unmet need can definitely relate to the demographic of college students that live in different places here at UF. I personally had to go through this struggle freshmen year. I also loved how you incorporated an idea such as Uber into creating your own personal app. The only criticism that I have about your actual pitch is that I would try to include more eye contact so the people you are pitching to is more interested. Tyler this is an awesome idea that would benefit many college students not only at our school, but across the country. This is a great opportunity because family is very important to most people during the holidays. By placing your business in an app form you can make it quick and easily accessible. I think many kids can relate to not having the resources to make it home for the holidays. You seemed very comfortable when making your pitch, great job.
